Here are some answers to the most common questions about The Simple Schooling Classroom.  A simple matching quiz is shown below as an example of one of our many online activities.  If you can use this then your computer has everything you need to enjoy a membership at The Classroom.  If you cannot see the Succession Interactivity - then please download the latest Flash Player version and try again.  That takes care of things 99% of the time.

Where can I purchase printed versions of your products?

Currently we offer the Classical Nature Study as a printed product along with the supplementary materials.

How do I purchase a subscription?

We now have a fully functional store for your shopping convenience.  Just click here to see all our current products.

How long will my subscription last?

All of the full subscriptions run for a one year period unless a special is running which adds additional time as a bonus.  The Solar System is a short course, check the current product page to see the exact length at this time.

What do I need to use the online unit studies?

The two main thing you need is Flashplayer 8.0 or above and at least a DSL internet connection.  In addition - some printed materials might include pdf with video - which requires the newest version of Adobe Reader. Both of these things are free and can be downloaded online in a matter of minutes.

You should also really consider switching to the Mozilla Firefox browser if you usually use Internet Explorer.  It simply doesn't have all the compatibility issues as IE and will save you a lot of frustration.

Why can't I access some of the printables in the subscribers area?

Printables are subscription specific - the unit study printables are only part of the K-12 subscription.  Middle School Physics is only part of that specific subscription etc.  Please check your subscription level and contact me if you feel there is some mistake. 

How do I purchase printables?

Right now the only place to purchase printable materials is at CurrClick.

What kind of software do I need to use the printables?

All books are in pdf format and so require Adobe Reader or another similar product.  Adobe Reader is free to download at their website.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We use PayPal  to process all our transactions - this includes most major credit or debit cards.

Do I have to have a PayPal account?

NO! PayPal will let you pay as a guest.

Is your site secure?

YES! Simple Schooling uses PayPal  to process all our transactions.

Where is my profile?

Your profile is located in the far right column on the front page.

What is your refund policy?

Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds on digital products.  When we begin to sell hard copy books and CD's for the interactive units and courses we will update our refund policy.

What if I have problems with the website?

Just contact me and I'll check things out.  In the mean time you should do the following:

• Refresh the page
• Log out and log back in using the Member Log in link on the top of the far right column.
  
• Restart your browser
• Restart your computer
• Check your security settings

99% of the time it is one of the reasons listed above, but occasionally computers just do weird stuff that is beyond our control and we will trouble shoot anything related to the website and host for issues and let you know.

Am I allowed to resell my purchases?

No. You are purchasing the rights to print out copies for your own family or to use the online subscription service for the length of your subscription . At this time no Simple Schooling product may be resold without permission.

Am I allowed to use Simple Schooling products for private schools, public schools, or group study?

No, all Simple Schooling materials were designed for single family home use only.  Any use in a Co-Op setting requires each individual to purchase their own copy of materials.
