This is the complete interactive course delivered via CD for home use.  This option is perfect for families who travel frequently, have a slow internet connection that cannot easily accommodate the loading time for the online version, or those who wish to use the course for several years with siblings.

Textbook

The Bugs, Mammals, and Reptiles Textbook is a visual delight for elementary students!  All of the 57 units are included in fabulous full-color detail.  All the stimulating photos and captions are also placed within the text for facilitate understanding of each topic.

The textbook is optional if you already have the full interactive course on CD’s or online – but it can also be used in place of the interactive courses with the workbook and copybooks for a fully traditional delivery of the material.

Students should complete two units per week. See a schedule of how the use of the complete course would work and feel free to mix and match, replace, or change it as you wish.

Workbook

The Bugs, Mammals, and reptiles workbook is an optional supplement for the complete one year course.  Each of the 57 units has three corresponding worksheets that should be completed before moving on to the next unit.  The worksheets span several subjects such as language arts, math, art, history, and geography.  This workbook is suggested from grades 2-4.  Click the sample button above to see how they fit together with the textbook and check the suggested parent schedule to see one way to fit it into your school year.  241 full color pages.

Copybooks

The Bugs, Mammals, and Reptiles copybooks contain all of the almost 300 vocabulary words tested in the full year course.  This consumable workbook is a great supplement to the overall program.  It can be used to fulfill handwriting, spelling, and vocabulary language arts requirements – making your school hours more efficient and inter-related.  The first page of each unit includes a blank space for drawing as well as some blank copy lines for writing anything they want.  The remaining pages for each unit have each vocabulary word and its definition to copy.  These consumables span the K-4 grade levels – choose either printing or cursive to match your student’s hand writing ability.
